How to choose the right shrink type and material for your products?

Shrink label is a special label. When the label made of thin film material is heated, the label will shrink according to the curve of the bottle body, and made the label and the bottle body  perfectly combine. Shrinkage materials commonly used include PVC, PETG and OPS. The specific properties of these materials are shown in the Table below.

PVC is the most commonly used shrink packaging material, it is suitable for the regular shaped bottles.

PET is suitable for bottles with a large difference in size between the mouth and the body, or shaped bottles, and PET material is a better choice for customers with high printing requirements.

OPS has poor printability and needs to be printed with special ink, so the price will be a little higher. It is suitable for shrink part of the bottle is very smooth, or higher requirements for environmental protection.
