The difference between PVC shrink film and POF shrink film.
March 02, 2022
POF shrinkage film is short for bidirectional stretching polyolefin shrinkage film, which is the most widely used and rapidly developed new environmental protection shrinkage film in the world. What is the difference between it and PVC shrinkage film?
The same:
1. Both shrink when heated.
2. It's all transparent.
3. Both can be made into shrink bags.
4. All can be shrunk with a shrink machine.
The difference:
1.PVC shrinkage temperature to reach 100-120 degrees, POF shrinkage temperature to reach 140-160 degrees.
2. Because the shrinkage temperature requirements are different, PVC can be blown and contracted by household hair dryer, and POF should at least use a heat gun.
3.PVC heat shrinkable film is tubular, POF heat shrinkable film is folded in half and single, not tubular.
4.PVC can be made into two-end shrink sleeve and arc bag, but POF can't.
See the table below for performance differences.
